Uhhm...How is everyone? Long time no speak, eh?
What's happened in the last 1 and a half years/2 yrs since my last visit or update? A bit. For one, I'm an adult (21.).
University life has been busy, I'm going to graduate this spring with a BA in General Arts and hopefully with a minor in Communication from the University of Ottawa. But after that, and perhaps reason to celebrate because I might update more, I'm hoping to go into Graphic Design (ooo. *adds sparkle effects*). I'm in the process of getting started on either two or three portfolios for UQÀM, Concordia University and Université Laval. (UQAM I might not apply to because open house proved to be completely useless. Especially since no one had the keys to the GD department D:.)
The first two are in Montréal and the latter is in Québec City.
Let's see what else...Hm. Well, I've been formally taking Japanese classes and those have been going well. I discovered at the end of 2nd year that I didn't want to continue in Sociology and found a new love in Communications/Media thanks to one of the best professors in the university's Communication studies department. (That's not to say Sociology wasn't boring--I had a lot of the best profs at the university and the subject matter was very fascinating. I just didn't feel like studying it for 4 years. However, having done 2 years of it, a lot of schools' Graphic design directors have given me looks of "You did a bit of your studies in Sociology you say?
Hmm...Oh! I've gotten into new shows and such like Heroes and Chuck. I even dabbled with a bit of Japanese dramas and stumbled upon/re-discovered Power Rangers (oh my childhood)...in Japanese and Kamen Rider/Masked Rider. (Highly recommend watching Engine Sentai Go-Onger btw) I don't watch them super often like I did with anime when I was younger though...but when I can, it's really enjoyable.
Music? I love Pierre Lapointe; Mes Aïeux has won a special place in my heart with their newest album...uh, I discovered Muse? I understand this is a good thing. Oh and I like Les Cowboys Fringants and Patrick Bruel among others.
Oh, uh, Canadian politics has driven me up the wall a few times. Nothing new there. *laughs*
I think that's it.
Oh yes, and I (and a whole city) survived a 52-day transit strike and I now have a pt job as a market researcher (survey interviewer, actually.). It's interesting.
So yeah!
How is everyone else doing? I'm excited to check out everyone's galleries--I'm sure everyone's become better since I last was around!
(PS...Looking at my old art makes me laugh a bit. Oh man)
PPS. I'm available on MSN (anubismon at hotmail etc.) and livejournal (same username).

I saw this and I decided to spam your front page and be totally cool. I = DGM fan too.)

The trouble with life is that there's no background music.

until the day before you die, that is."
